Leveling the field in the Stock Market game

Start a garden party

We seed, weed, edge, mow, fertilize, and water them. Millions of dollars are spent each month on keeping our lawns in top shape. Our lawns give us little benefit back from all of this hard work. Their main benefit is to reduce soil erosion.  By converting part of our lawns into gardens, we could help feed us.  (More detailed information)

Cremation over burial

When I was young I loved to watch old Westerns. After the gunfight, the bad guy was buried on the edge of town in a cemetery called Boot Hill.  Today the edge of town keeps moving out farther and farther as our metro areas continue to grow. (More detailed information)
